Broken Glass

My young grandson broke this glass by pulling himself up on a sidetable on which the glass was sitting. There was also a mug on it which also smashed.

It is a telling example of how fast babies can change as just one week before there is no way that he could have done that.

Fortunately I was able to move him away from the glass before he hurt himself and keep him distracted while John set to to clean up the mess.

I like how the glass sparkles against the dark grey. That is not where the glass was broken. I took the photograph once the kids were safely out of the way and the glass had been removed to the garage.

It was my third and final entry for the B&W Photo Contest, the theme of which was, broken and worn.
