Same Old Same Old

Wow. It's been three weeks since I made a Steem Monsters post. That's partly because I've been playing less and less but also because I'm getting more and more fed up with it.

The reward cards I'm earning in my daily quests are almost worthless. So much so that another player was offering an upvote of $1.46 for people who were willing to burn (take out of the game permanently) 100 of them.

Automated tournaments have started so I thought I'd have a go at the novice level only to discover that nothing has changed there. Some of the top players are playing in those too so there's no chance for us in the lower levels. Makes a nonsense of "novice".

And the bots are still out in force. In fact this morning I decided to investigate further and found that one person in Champions League owns at least 28 bots that play in the league I'm in. It's sooooo boring.

The person that introduced me to the game and raved about it is now leaving, along with plenty of others but the owners don't see to care.

It doesn't help that the cards I have won have been mostly commons and a few rares.

My grandson opened these from last seasons end which were by far the best set I got!

So that's the moan for today. At least the weather is glorious! 😁
