Today I caught a train to a nearby town to visit a friend for lunch.
I haven't seen her for years but she was back in the area for Christmas and wet managed to meet up before she goes home on Saturday.
I caught the bus to the train station but walked to where she was staying at the other end. Then we walked into town after lunch for dinner coffee and cake
I caught the train back but decided to walk home from the station. It was colder than I expected so it was a petty brisk walk!
