I love flower macros..I've got 100's of them. But sometimes they just get too much.Nature in close up is just too amazing and I get dizzy at her complexity and beauty.
So what do I do?I stop looking at them as flower macros and start looking at them as works of art-which I guess they are anyway!I get whatever image manipulation software I have handy on the device I'm on and hit it hard!If you are only viewing this on a phone don't bother-you need a bigger screen to appreciate the detail.
Colour temp, balance, hue, saturation, inversion, blacklevel, exposure, highlights, white balance curves,levels,resolution,sharpening-any and everything till I get more of what I would like to have as a large piece on a wall than a piece in a garden book.
So have some fun get away from the detail and see the bigger picture. It is amazing how much fun you can have when you stop smelling the roses and throw them up on the wall-thanks Mother Nature!
