Rewards are fun, but since I don't really plan on ever withdrawing hive(with the costs of withdrawal to cad it would cost me a lot more to withdraw than it would earn me.) Some does end up getting invested in splinterlands or other games I might fancy.
I do think one of the things hive could use is easier onboarding. A lite login with an email that can be upgraded to a proper wallet would go a long way to helping increase people on here. Sites like peakd etc, seem like a really natural way to get people into crypto in general. The hive earned can feel more like points than earning money. It's just fun. I do love the idea of having enough hive that my upvotes are worth more than half a penny.
there's something about Peakd/hive that is a lot less spammy and fast paced then a lot of social media which is something that I appreciate.
