I can attest to this. I am an essential as a shipping and processing clerk. Across the shipping industry whether we are talking about the Postal service or the privet shipping services, volume has more than doubled since the covid thing kicked off and we are severely understaffed. The current work load is so crushing that it frightens off all the new hires so we can't keep our staff. Those of us who do stick it out, are now faced with a seemingly unending precession of 10 - 12 hour days. Exhausting is an understatement.

The only reason I have time to write this is now is that I was told to stay home because I have been exposed to the virus and I am not allowed back until I test negative.
