Yeah I can see your frustration there. My feed is less interesting than I would like lately too. I also am kind of tired of those actifit report card things (I think I have seen you talk about those too, if I'm not mistaken).

I wish there was an easy way to filter our feeds for certain words so we can avoid some of that stuff. That wouldn't address the trend itself but it might make it less evident to a user who doesn't want it.

I don't know what the answer is. I don't want to be one of those people who demands whatever my idea of "quality content" is but I also don't that type of easy content to overrun this place either. The vast majority of those posts don't cross a down vote line for me but they do usually cross a no-vote line.
