This was one of the first watercolors I ever did. As you can see, it is quite easy - a limited number of colors and basically just solid shapes, no blending or anything; these are the perfect types of things to do if you are new to watercolor.
I did this after watching a documentary about the American National Parks and the role Muir had in starting that whole thing up and getting Roosevelt on board.
I love nature and being outside, so naturally I love this quote by him.
