You always get warning signs, in this case you'd get a distinct knocking noise. I guess these drivers aren't paying for the repairs so just ignore it.

Oh you have a puma! I always liked the look of those cars. And wow! 22 years old and still mechanically sound. Some engines are just built to last 🙂 I had a Peugeot like that once. It had about 200,000 miles on the clock and never let me down until the day I put the wrong fuel in it by mistake (I'll never forgive myself)
