Once upon a time there was a young warrior named Lian, who lived in a kingdom besieged by a terrible dragon. The dragon preyed on the people and animals of the kingdom, and no one could stop it. The king offered a great reward to whoever managed to kill the dragon, but many brave men tried and failed.
Lian was an orphan who had been raised by an elderly martial arts master. He taught Lian to fight with courage and wisdom, and to use a magic sword that could cut anything. Lian was the master's best disciple, and also the kindest. He helped the poor and the sick, and defended the weak from the abuse of the powerful.
One day, the master told Lian that the time had come to face the dragon. He told him that it was his destiny, and that he had to fulfill it for the good of the kingdom. Lian accepted the challenge, and said goodbye to his teacher with a hug. Then, he took the magic sword from him and headed towards the mountain where the dragon lived.
Lian arrived at the dragon's cave, and found him asleep. It was a huge beast, with red scales, black wings and sharp claws. Lian crept closer, and raised his sword to deal the killing blow. But at that moment, the dragon opened its eyes, and let out a roar that shook the earth. Lian was not scared, and bravely launched the attack.
A fierce battle began between the warrior and the dragon. Lian dodged the dragon's flames and tails, and slashed at it with his sword. The dragon hurt Lian with its claws and teeth, causing him to bleed. Lian did not give up, and continued to fight with determination. The dragon became angry, and his fury increased.
Finally, Lian saw an opportunity, and stabbed his sword into the dragon's heart. The dragon let out one last scream, and fell dead to the ground. Lian had accomplished his feat, and saved the kingdom. But he had also paid a high price. He was seriously injured, and he knew that he would not survive. He crawled to the mouth of the cave, and looked up at the sky. He saw the sun shine, and he felt an inner peace. He had fulfilled his destiny, and he had died a hero.
The entire kingdom celebrated Lian's victory, and honored him as a hero. The king granted him the reward, and he gave it to the master of Lian. The master built a temple in memory of Lian, and filled it with flowers and candles. There, he taught his new disciples the history of Lian, and the values he represented. Lian became a legend, and his name was remembered for generations.
