I decided to skip my usual birthday party this year and we decided on a week filled with adventures! We packed up our Mercedes Sprinter van and headed up the scenic highway!
Our first stop was Dana Point. We stopped for cocktails and of course I had my favorite~ Empress Gin with a splash of champagne! Salute!
I ordered a delicious fried chicken sandwich with a drizzle of jalapeño Buffalo sauce aioli and broccoli slaw…
And my sweetheart ordered a smoked chuck french dip sandwich.
For dessert we drove to Laguna Beach and we walked down the street to this lovely outdoor cafe!
The coffee and pastries were amazing!
It was such a lovely day for a walk and to go exploring!
There was so much to see!
We discovered a very cool tiki themed steakhouse in Laguna Beach and we made reservations to meet up with our friends who live in Dana Point for next week! I can’t wait!
All in all it was a great way to spend my birthday! Can’t wait for more adventures!
