Hi everyone! I hope your day has been well. Mines has been pretty chill. I worked earlier and afterwords, played a little Splatoon on the Wii U. Now I'm writing this post and later I'll work on some art and music.
So, I enjoy drawing portraits of people and surprisingly, I hardly ever do this. Like, no joke... I've only completed 3 portraits. I've only tried to draw about 5 portraits ever. I know, I know...that's a very low number for someone that enjoys drawing portraits.
Truth is, I like drawing a lot of other things as well. What you usually see me drawing is anime though. That's because I enjoy it as well. Over time, this will change and I'll add a lot more than just anime drawings and a few portraits here and there to my archive. The three portraits that I've drawn and finished so far are a portrait of Rihanna, Johnny Depp and Iron Man.
I've already uploaded the piece of Iron Man that I drew. So today, I'll be uploading the piece of Johnny Depp that I drew.
All in all, I spent around 8 hours working on this and trust me, it felt like 8 hours too. This was also done several years ago. Actually, scratch that...back in 2012, so almost several years ago.
I don't exactly remember why I chose to draw a portrait of him. I think it was because I was on deviant art looking at portraits that other people drew and once I came across one that looked liked the picture that I drew, I decided to draw it. I draw whatever picture stands out to me. It's like an itch that I have to scratch. It's a little weird now that I think about it lol. Oh well, that's really just who I am.
