Red is color that draws your gaze and holds on to it, it’s no wonder why it’s such a sensuous color. I’ve always wanted to experiment with this hue, so I thought, why not make a series and if possible, mint it.
I’ve pretty much been fumbling around trying to understand NFTs. This would be my first NFT series and here’s the first piece!

I made use of Procreate on an iPad Pro for this art piece
I started off with a sketch. I noticed that when I clean up my lines, it tends to loose the expressive nature of the original sketch. So this time, I deviated from the normal way I created my paintings.
At first, I wanted the girl to have the normal skin tone with red highlights, but when I set the skin tone layer to multiply, I was blown away, so changed the skin tone to red.
I blocked out the dark areas before proceeding to add highlights. I really love this piece because it feels so alive!
