Hey guys!
I hope you are all doing great.
Today's creativity revolved around a picture that I took when visiting a park.
I was taking some shots, and I saw those street lamp thing. They were beautiful I aimed to take the picture and as the sun was behind them, they were not coming out clear. So dimmed the light to zero. And took this photo.

In the other photo the sun came directly behind one of the lamps. It looked so magical!

Then why Shouldn't wee draw this!

Let's Paint this Magical Photo

Materials

My materials for painting are usual.

  • Water colours
  • Brushes
  • Sketchbook
  • Pointers
  • water 👀

Process

Firstly I made a swatch of blue colours to see what kind of blues I have.

There was nothing to draw. All was to be done with paint. So just for the mark I made a circle for keeping it the lightest part.

Here I started from a thin wash of yellow ochre and then made 3 gradients of blue.
I noticed that thus sketchbook cannot withstand much water. So a lesson for the next time, that whenever the work requires much water heavy page should be used.

Then I made the trees with black colour, as they had become dark.

(Till here it was giving Van Gogh's style vibes 😆)

Then I roughly sketched the lamps. But I was very cautious while drawing it with pointer.

Then as usual, pasted it over my journal.

So here's the result.

Colours are much lightened in the camera result.

So how are the results!
Can't wait to see ya guys nect time 🥰
Take care ❣️
Bye bye 👋
