We had to deal with a few minor Problems of the world at this moment, after centuries people who knew and understood math realised that our whole Universe is based on math. These people worked hard on theories which described all and everything around them from falling apples or soccerballs, it has all to deal with one force its Gravity :0. Gravity is described by that two masses attract each other, the earth attracts my mass and doesnt let me float away from the surface, or the waves which get attracted by the moon for example. Or our planet is moving around the Suns gravitiational pull. But there was one Genius who realised something that the speed limit of our Universe, the 3D Playground is the light speed. So what does that mean, a speed limit ?!?
You could go on google or the Internet and search for the Minkowski diagramm, but that wont explain everything. With this kind of Information we can describe certain areas or lets say better space, our space is build up by 3 Dimension +/-, i mean up -down, left -right, front- back. Thats something unique, i dont wannt to know how it might be in a higher dimension but later on that. Einstein was brilliant and combined time and space together like, I dont know trough which kind of medium light travels but lets say there isnt such a medium for light. One one axis we put the time and on the other axis, the horizontal one in most cases called x in algebra, we put the space or more likely the space which light has travelled in the amount of time, since its a constant speed, its linear. The keypoint is that now we can say, above the line of the light travelled we can say there can happe anything from me staying in my room to you flying in a plane. Suddenly he didint get the Nobelprize for this discovery which is kinda sad but you cant change it so :/.
We know are able so make spacetime diagrams, we are able to describe motion in a new way, not only like this mass has to be accelrated to change its momentum. More Likely lets take our Galaxy and watch what happens, the funny thing is our space can be changed by what is in there like a trampoline thats get bended by your mass. Got it ?
Speacial relativity describes what observers see when they could watch how you travel near the speed of light, really werid stuff happens trust me, time slows down for the traveller compared to the one whos watching or your mass is getting bigger, mass not weight ladies. But there are certain misterious Objects in our Universe like blackholes where the Spacetime diagramm give you the weirdest answers since thats all some quations with letter noone know except physicists. Like space is in one dimensional Point, now imagine your room youre sitting in is packed in just like a one dot ball somewhere in the middle, that sounds crazy.
