The images above with the title of the article published by The Times referenced by the first block code of Bitcoin shown in raw hex created by Satoshi Nakamoto.
The genesis block code or some calls it block 0 was the first implementation of the first cryptocurrency, a realization of the peer to peer transaction in digital cash. It was mined on Jan 3, 2009 at 1:15:05 p.m. EST, with a reward of 50 BTC. And we come to take a look now that Bitcoin has come into fruition with some practical real world uses, priced market value and is on the brink of mass adoption.
It is obvious in Satoshi's message, we are to create a new currency. Not dependent on the current financial institutions and governments but on the security of mathematical certainty. The banks are falling and true to its proposition there was economic meltdown during that time and the ones that suffered the most were the common people. Banks were bailed out by the government using taxpayers' money. Something must be done to change the system, and Bitcoin was born.
Now, as we look back that much progress has been done. Solutions are being laid out for its scalability, financial institutions are adopting it, governments are recognizing it, and many other positive developments. It is time to see and embrace the philosophy of why it is created in the first place. The control of money should now be in the hands of the people or the common users.
We need to have a new paradigm, we should not be dictated by any large corporations or governments and be exploited through our vulnerabilities. Bitcoin is our tool for freedom against a monetary system that puts us in great disadvantage and just benefit the few. We should be vigilant in practicing our rights, let us use and encourage others to use Bitcoin more.
