Well, as you stated, many other parts of the world are getting hit bad. The US situation is likely worse then what is being reported as many Red states underreport. Just now however, the very Red state of Texes announced all bars have to close and Florida hit record cases. Also, the NBA which was going to start, reported many players testing positive. As a wise old professor always said, "never underestimate the stupidity of the masses". Ugg.
