[Eng Spa] Dead Houses History frozen in time/Casas Muertas Historia detenida en el tiempo
Saludos apreciados amigos de esta maravillosa comunidad la cual me siento muy orgulloso de pertenecer, Bendiciones a cada uno de ustedes los que me leen los que son miembros de esta comunidad y sobre todo a los administradores de esta comunidad por darnos la oportunidad de poder encontrarnos en este espacio tecnologico, en esta oportunidad me es un placer compartir con ustedes una casa histórica que se encuentra el el municipio ortiz del estado Guárico, la cual es una casa colonial que marcaron sin duda un ayer y un hoy en la historia de Venezuela y algunos otros paises de Venezuela, que si bien en cierto con la conquista trajo nuevos elementos a la cultura Venezolana entre estos elementos la arquitectura colonial no quedo por fuera.
Ortiz is a historic town which was marked by endless events that marked its history forever since the time of the conquest, although it is true that this municipality at its best was the colony as a cattle settlement for some Spaniards who they fell in love with the productivity of these soils and that it is also excellent for livestock activity, and as part of the constant walk of life these lands inherited from that time multiple colonial houses like the ones I am showing you below, which at the time historical events happened that marked the history of this little town forever.
Ortiz es un pueblo histórico el cual estuvo marcado por un sin fin de acontecimientos que marcaron su historia para siempre desde tiempos de la conquista, si bien es cierto que este municipio en su mejor momento se la colonia fungia como un asentamiento Ganadero de algunos españoles que se enamoraron de lo productivos de estos suelos y que es tambien excelente para la actividad ganadera, y como parte de el constante andar de la vida estas tierras heredo de esa epoca multiples casas coloniales como las que les estoy mostrando a continuacion, que en su momento sucedieron acontecimientos históricos que marcaron la Historia de este pueblito para siempre.
For the inhabitants of the Ortiz municipality, these houses represent a cultural heritage since they were marked from when the tragic history of this little town began with a disease that, although it is true, caused a lot of havoc for the time, forcing many people to leave their homes for fear of falling into this terrible and deadly disease for the time
para los habitantes del municipio ortiz estas casas representan un patrimonio cultural pues quedaron marcadas desde cuando se inicia la trágica historia de este pueblito con una enfermedad que si bien es cierto causo muchos estragos para la epoca, lo que obligo a muchas personas abandonar sus hogares por miedo a caer en esta terrible y mortal enfermedad para la epoca
In many cases I think and firmly believe that in order to understand the present we have to take a look at the past, this town was succumbed by Civil Wars and malaria that led to desolation and that this accumulation of calamities almost erased it from the face of existence completely, it is well known in the history books that originally this municipality to which I refer was the capital of the Guárico state but these phenomena contributed to the capital being transferred to another municipality and with it and these series of events left this town immersed in oblivion only part of these Colonial houses remains and I decided to share it with you
En muchos casos pienso y creo firmemente que para poder comprender el presente tenemos que hechar un vistazo al pasado, este pueblo fue sucumbido por Guerras Civiles y el paludismo que lo llevo a la desolacion y que este cúmulo de calamidades casi lo borra de la faz de la existencia completamente, bien es conocido en los libros de historia que originalmente este municipio al cual hago referencia era la capital del estado Guárico pero estos fenómenos contribuyeron a que la capital fuera trasladada a otro municipio y con ello y estas series de acontecimientos dejaron a este pueblo inmerso en el olvido solo queda de ellos parte de estas casas Coloniales y decidi compartirla con ustedes
In the main corridor, it can be seen how it is deteriorated, perhaps due to the passage of time and the little maintenance that has been done to this work, which I consider that to be considered cultural heritage, it should have a little more attention from the state, and repair what possible its aesthetics so it would have a better visualization and even better it would be a better tourist attraction for all the people who love colonial architecture, history that marked a before and after in the history of our country
En la pasillo principal puede observarse como se encuentra deteriorado quizas por el transcurrir del tiempo y el poco mantenimiento que le han echo a esta obra que considero que para considerarse patrimonio cultural deberia tener un poco mas de atencion pot parte del estado, y reparar en lo posible su estetica asi tendría una mejor visualización y mejor aun seria un mejor atractivo turístico para todas las personas amantes de la arquitectura colonial, de la historia que marco un antes y un despues en la historia de nuestro pais
I believe that the greatest importance of this type of structure is its history, undoubtedly although it is true that our original culture lived in stilt houses, houses that they built on the beaches as well as others in churuatas, which were other types of houses with a singular ceiling made with coconut palm material, I can say from my perspective that the colony brought an evolution to Venezuelan architecture, since different architectural elements were built in our country that in some places still remain despite the many years that have elapsed
creo que la mayor importancia de este tipo de estructura es su historia, indudablemente si bien es cierto nuestra cultura originaria vivian en palafitos, viviendas que ellos construian en la parte de las playas asi como otros en churuatas que era otro tipo de viviendas con un singular techo elaborado con materia de la palma de coco, puedo decir desde mi percepción que la colonia trajo una evolución a la arquitectura venezolana, pues fueron construidos diferentes elementos arquitectónicos en nuestro pais que en algunos lugares aun se mantienen a pesar de los muchos años que han transcurrido
It is incredible to see how there are so many antiques inside this house, in which I can say that considerably our society has not stopped and has evolved over time, since multiple elements that perhaps for the time of the colony were significantly important today have lost validity, such is the case of the chandeliers that we can see in some parts of its walls which were used for night lighting that currently do not have that special functionality as well as in the colonial era
es increíble ver como existen tantas antiguedades dentro de esta casa, en el cual puedo decir que considerablemente nuestra sociedad no se ha detenido y a evolucionado en el tiempo, pues multiples elementos que quiza para el tiempo de la colonia eran significativamente importantes hoy en dia han perdido vigencia, tal es el caso de los candelabros que podemos observar en algunas partes de sus paredes los cuales eran utilizados para la iluminación nocturna que actualmente no tienen esa funcionabilidad especial asi como en la época colonial
I am impressed with this type of structure by the solidity in which they were built because despite the time and being visibly deteriorated in some parts, it can be seen how these walls were made with bricks and stones depending on the case, I have seen many colonial houses and I can say that have essentially the same design and model in their architecture.
me impresiona de este tipo de estructura la solides en la cual eran construidas pues a pesar del tiempo y de encontrarse visiblemente deteriorada en algunas partes puede observarse como estaban constituidas estas paredes con ladrillos y piedras dependiendo el caso, he visto muchas casas coloniales y puedo decir que poseen en esencia el mismo diseño y modelo en su arquitectura.
Something that I could perceive was that the lower part of the roof is in good condition, so to speak, but I don't know if it was repaired or if it has been preserved that way since its foundation, which I doubt, because there are many pests such as termites, which are the main enemies of this type of roof, as well as humidity, so it could be said that at some point it was repaired
algo que pude percibir fue que la parte inferior del techo se encuentra en un buen estado por decirlo asi de alguna manera pero desconozco si fue que lo repararon o se a conservado asi desde su fundación cosa que lo pongo en duda, debido a que existen muchas plagas como las termitas que son los principales enemigos de este tipo de techo al igual que la humedad, por lo que pudiera decir que en algún momento fue reparado

en la parte interna pude observar el comedor el cual estaba constituido por una mesa de madera asi como sillas de madera igual me imagino que para ese tiempo no existía tanta variedad de elemetos de diseño de muebles como ahora en la actualidad

desde la parte del fondo del interior puede observarse desde otro angulo esta estructura histórica, creo que si se tomara mas en serio el asunto y haciendo algunas mejoras como por ejemplo colocandole un techo nuevo del mismo material y haciendo unas raparaciones puntuales esta estructura tomaria un mayor atractivo visual y de igual forma turístico
Further down we can see a structure that is totally in ruins, I don't know what mainly worked, but it can be seen totally decayed and mistreated over time that does not forgive, this part is irreparable, however in this place it gives space to remember what these colonial structures were like in Ortiz, a small town in the Guárico state that was once the capital of the Guárico state but that malaria and civil war allied to almost disappear from the map as well as its inhabitants, if you want to understand a little more about I invite you to read this story "Casas Muertas" by the writer Miguel Otero Silva. mas al fondo podemos observar una estructura que se encuentra totalmente en ruinas, no se que funcionaba principalmente, pero puede verse totalmente decaido y maltratado con el paso del tiempo que no perdona, esta parte si se encuentra irreparable, sin embargo en este lugar da espacio para rememorar como eran estás estructuras coloniales de Ortiz un pueblito del estado Guárico que en su momento fue capital del estado Guárico pero que el paludismo y la guerra civil se aliaron para casi desaparerlo del mapa asi como sus habitantes, si quieres comprerder un poco mas de esta historia los invito a que lean "Casas Muertas" del escritor Miguel Otero Silva hay se narra la tragedia por la que paso este pequeñito pedazo de tierra del estado Guárico

otro atractivo que posee esta casa colonial es una serie de pinturas alusivas a la arquitectura colonial que se encuentran concentradas en un espacio de esta casa donde funciona como Galería para estas pinturas asi como tambien centro para la danza la culturas y otros bailes, es muy común observar jovenes hacerse a esta casa colonial por su participación en alguna obra o en alguna actividad cultural
