Seascape in backlight

Hello everyone dear friends and welcome back to my blog. Today I share a watercolor depicting a seascape with a backlit lighthouse.

Rather than using the classic photographic backlight technique, I preferred to show off the colorful range of bright colors. So with lemon yellow, orange and alizarin I made the sky, on the wet paper and the water mixed the colors together with a lot of art.

Later, still on the wet paper, I painted the sailboat and the lighthouse with blue and purple. A bright result and very different from the classic backlight where the object against the sun is very dark.

Paesaggio marino in controluce

Ciao a tutti cari amici e ben tornati sul mio blog. Oggi condivido un acquarello che rappresenta un paesaggio marino con faro in controluce. Piuttosto che usare la classica tecnica del controluce fotografico, ho preferito dare sfoggio alla gamma colorata di colori brillanti.

Quindi con giallo limone, arancione e alizarina ho realizzato il cielo, sulla carta bagnata e l'acqua ha mescolato insieme i colori con molta arte. In seguito, sempre sulla carta bagnata ho dipinto la barca a vela ed il faro con il blu e il viola.

Un risultato luminoso e molto differente dal classico controluce dove l'oggetto contro il sole è molto scuro. Spero che il mio acquarello vi piaccia. Un abbraccio in controluce colorato.
