Escaping at sunset - watercolor on paper

Escaping at sunset - watercolor on paper

Hello all dear Hivers friends and welcome back to my blog. Today I am sharing a surreal landscape at sunset with horses galloping. I tried to give drama to the scene by alternating warm and cold colors. After painting the horses I darkened the sky on the right with blue and purple to give the feeling of night.

On the left I painted a series of bare trees contrasting with the dark masses of trees on the right.

Finally I put bright red in the sky with reflections downward on the road.

I hope you like it, I send you a hug on the run.

Armando.

Armando.
