Braving the waves - watercolors on paper

Hello all dear Hivers friends and welcome back to my blog. Today I return to share my beloved sea with sailboats. As you can see this is a seascape with two sailboat bows in the foreground with frontal waves to emphasize the challenge. I thought to give visual strength to the colors of the two boats and the size of the sails, a balancing act between color and shapes. I tried to give dynamism to the action with the large waves in the foreground and the clear sky between the two boats, inserting a smaller one with a purple sail.

Sfidando le onde - acquarelli su carta

Ciao a tutti cari amici Hivers e bentornati sul mio blog. Oggi torno a condividere il mio amato mare con le barche a vela. Come potete vedere si tratta di un paesaggio marino con due prue di barche a vela in primo piano con onde frontali ad enfatizzare la sfida. Ho pensato di dare forza visiva ai colori delle due barche ed alla grandezza delle vele, un gioco di equilibri tra il colore e le forme. Ho cercato di dare dinamicità all'azione con le grandi onde in primo piano ed i chiari del cielo in mezzo alle due barche, inserendone una più piccola con la vela viola.
