Going back to what i have started. Alcohol markers is something I enjoy using when it comes to creating sketches. I really love how I can use these pens with not expecting a detailed and great arts. At the same time, you're free to what style would you want to use. It can be monochrome, a sketch, a detailed one and more. But at this time, I decided to do a simple sketch. Using different shades of brown. This is what i've come up with.
So the first thing I did was draw the face outline using a pencil. Then I switch to a pen to start overlay the color. I partially draw the face,nose,lips and eyebrows.
Then I chose a hairstyle. Actually I was debating if i will make it bald or a hairy one, but I'm kinda inspired with a burst mawhawk cut so this is the result.
Now, I used, a black ballpoint to create some details, especially with eyes and nose. Since these will give an expression.
So, more likely, it's just a layer and layering of colors and details. But keep in mind that you should knw where to put layers to control the combination of colors. So this is the whole thing I've come up with in a very limited time.
