Hello =D
This post is about the videogame DeltaRune (chapter 2), played using cheats. These cheats were created by me, with the program CheatEngine.

I could change the battle as I want, & the featured cheat in the below video is the ability to move the heart (aka SOUL in game) with mouse, holding the key "Ctrl".

To can move the SOUL with mouse holding "Ctrl", I activate a Lua script. To activate the Lua script, just goto "Table" menu in CheatEngine window, then click in "Show Cheat Table Lua Script". A window with the code will appear. Just click on "Execute script" on the bottom of that window, then I close it. A little cheat menu will appear with two checkboxes. It's recommended to close it & execute the script again, since most simple Lua trainers work with executing it twice.
Just checked the one "Hold 'Ctrl' key to move SOUL with mouse" to activate the script. To deactivate, I uncheck it.

When activating the Lua script, I must move the mouse pointer anywhere holding "Ctrl" until I see the SOUL moving in screen ( as I did in video ). Once did that, I already know the area where to place the mouse pointer. This happens because the position of SOUL depends of battle & it's relative, however it don't have negative numbers. It also happens because of how did I build the Lua script.

The Lua script looks like this:
" "image.png""
In the line 119 (open picture in new tab to zoom it) I 'say' the script to check in my cheat table* to activate the assembly script "Let Lua script work", which is this one:
" "image.png""
This assembly script is created to build pointers when the read object (in line 21) is the SOUL object (that is specified from the line 14 to 18). This gives information about the desired object (to know coordinates, size, color, etc.). Although in the script, the main instruction gives information about the "X" position of all the working objects into the register eax. But in this case, I did a memory injection (using the Full Injection method) in the assembly script, & added some instructions so I 'say' the script to set the SOUL's address (actually the value of edi) as value of the static address "DELTARUNE.exe"+480008, which is the base address used in the Lua script. I chose that static address because it's unused by any instruction. So, no matter what value it has, the game don't crash.
