To make things worse, they inflate the numbers as a scare tactic to persuade everyone to get the flu vaccine. As these numbers show, it's the elderly that's high risk. Then why should everyone get the controversial shot with mercury in it? If it's not preventing the elderly from dying from the flu, why would it prevent healthier people from dying?
