Serials/Series/Drama different names but they all have same motive, which is to entertain audience. They come in different categories like: sci-fi, romantic, thriller, motivational, religious, action, comedy etc. But if we talk about Hindi serials then all these categories doesn’t matter at all because you can find all these categories in one serial itself.
History of Hindi Serials
Once upon a time there used to be a channel called Doordharshan, which was only channel available that time. It was whole package channel which include news, serials, movies, educational programs etc. At that time serials used to have some logic behind their story with some message. Those were golden days of Indian television and I am glad that I was able to live that time.

Present time
End of golden days of television, disaster of television. This is the time when television became crapyvision. Now day’s 98% serials have similar stories, story of Saas-Bahu ki ladai (fight between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law). Serials start with different story but after month or two their story start becoming like all other serials. Serials which are weirdest, creepiest and stupidest tend to have more TRP than serials with some logic. Reason behind this is mindset of public that was reset by these stupid serials it was like public was brainwashed and now they just don’t want to accept good serials. Well I don’t want to say anything more all I would like to say is Rest in Peace Hindi Serials
