Every year when the session ends our school organizes a formal farewell for the passing out batch. All the boys who had their last year gave speeches sharing their experience at school and also thanking everyone who at some point of time helped them. One of the seniors in his speech told us a story about his friend.
The story was just a method that his friend used to keep himself motivated to work hard. He told us that his friend was preparing for some competitive exam and had to study till late at night. So before sitting down at his workplace he used to write two words on his left hand which were “not yet”. Now whenever he felt sleepy. He read those two words written on his left hand and thought that he could study more. He continued to do this till he utilized the last spark in him. This was his secret to success. Those two words kept him motivated to work to the best of his potential.
To be more successful than others you have to work harder. You have to use your complete potential. You have to work till that last spark. You will never find a man who has achieved more but worked less. Hard work always pays. Be true to yourself and you’ll achieve nothing less than what you deserve.
