Hey friends, this is my first post here and before I go ahead with introducing myself I wish to confess something. Since some time I had lost interest in any sort of social media platform. Thanks to fake news pages, racist commentators and sexist posts. When a friend of mine told me about Steemit a month back I didn’t show any interest. A while back, she was sitting beside me and started smiling. When I asked her the reason she passed me her phone and asked me to read the story. It was a post on Steemit in which someone had shared her recent travelling experience and it was such a beautifully written piece that I almost got lost in it. I decided to check out other posts and was amazed to see so many people sharing stories, ideas, and thoughts about so many interesting topics.
I personally believe that experience is the best school. But it has its limitations. You can only have a certain number of experiences in a given time. But what if a community of people come together to have meaningful conversations on any random topic? What if we could all share our experiences, and learn from each other. There is so much that life teaches us but is not even talked about in schools. What if we could learn all of it from each other, here?
So here’s what I propose, let us all post our views on topics of our interest. Stories that can help others grow. Experiences that you think have been your guiding light. Ideas that can lead someone to a positive thinking track. Methods that can help people do well for themselves or their community or maybe the whole world. Coming from the land of mystics, I plan to write my first post about God. Hope you all liked the idea. Do leave me a comment if there is any specific topic you wish to talk about.
