Through this endless desert, I march
and never letting down my guard,
I venture forth into dangers unknown
hoping that into a man I have grown.
The multitudes of mysteries that surround me
the magnitudes of which astound me, drown me.
Ignorance is bliss, some might say
and 'tis true, what can I say.
To uncover the unknown is my goal
but some mysteries are best left unknown.
To boldly go where no one has gone before
to boldly go where I haven't gone before.
Though, the end is not in my sight
but I swear that I will fight
until I see that last light
and fades into a void my might.
'Tis the meaning of being alive
to never stop this car we call life.
Until that last ember fades
until this endless desert ends
until I uncover the unknown
my skills I shall hone.
And one day, when all is said and done,
when our fates are decided by that higher power,
I shall emerge through the smoke of your lies
and I shall emerge victorious, with a smoking gun.
