Here's a photo I got earlier this summer in Ile D'Orleans, Canada. This is the area where the Saint Lawrence river starts to widen into a huge bay as it empties into the Atlantic ocean. The water, at least on top and close to shore, tasted fresh rather than salty when I went swimming. But there are tides here. I love the vastness of the water bodies, and the massive rolling hills in this part of Canada.
