Our world is in crisis right now. Here in Canada the streets are abandoned, schools are closed, hospitals are full, and gas is cheaper than I've ever seen it. It feels like it might be the beginning of the end of civilization. Meanwhile, Steemit has undergone its own unprecedented crisis. I'm incredibly impressed by how the community has come together in the name of decentralization, has fought for freedom, and pushed new frontiers. There's always the hope that a crisis can unite us under the banner of what is good. The end of the old is a bright new beginning.
