In all countries there must be good and bad roads, both on highways in cities and in villages. The purpose of the state to build roads is to make it easier for its people to travel or carry out daily activities comfortably, quickly and safely to their destination.
Sometimes not all the activities we do while on the highway go well, such as traffic jams. Traffic congestion is a condition or situation that is not liked by everyone, because it can slow down and even stop human activities on the road. Traffic jams usually occur due to several things, for example an accident, a large number of vehicles, a disaster and ongoing road repair activities.
When I was in college, I had a traffic jam. At that time in the morning I went from home to my college by riding a motorcycle. The distance from my house to college is about 13 km. Well, in the middle of the trip, I experienced a long traffic jam, at that time I thought the traffic jam was due to an accident or the road was being repaired, but after I walked slowly, while following the flow of traffic jams I saw a number of police and soldiers stopping all vehicles including the vehicle I was using at the time.
It turned out that the traffic jam occurred because of the inspection of vehicle documents and also a driver's license carried out by the police and the army. At that time I forgot to bring my wallet, where the wallet contained the documents for the vehicle I was using and a driver's license, because I did not bring these documents, I was given a sanction by the police, in the form of a fine of money and my motorcycle was detained and I was forced to take public transportation to get to my college.
When I arrived at the lecture, I was not allowed by the lecturer to enter the classroom, because I was late for the exam so I had to repeat the exam the following year. It was an incident that made me regret and a little angry at the traffic jam that I experienced. Why am I sorry and a little angry, because at the time of the traffic jam, there was actually another way to avoid the traffic jam. If I know that the traffic jam is due to the police and soldiers checks for vehicle documents, I prefer to avoid it by using other roads.
From the traffic jam incident that I experienced, I took a wisdom and lesson to always check and carry vehicle documents before I travel using my personal vehicle.
