Tutorial on making Apatosaurus Dinosaur from origami paper 🦕

Making crafts from origami paper is always fun, because from a piece of paper we can make any unique creation according to the imagination in our minds, well today I want to make another ancient animal from origami paper called the Apatosaurus Dinosaur.

When I was little, I really liked seeing ancient animals, especially dinosaurs that I often saw in the King Kong movie, well in my opinion the Apatosaurus Dinosaur is one of the strong dinosaurs and is also one of the most iconic dinosaurs in the types of dinosaurs that made me want to make it using origami paper today.

Here is a tutorial for making an Apatosaurus Dinosaur from a piece of origami paper.

First, fold the origami paper into a triangle, then unfold it again and fold it once more into a triangle from the opposite direction to make the initial pattern of the Apatosaurus Dinosaur.

Then unfold it again and now fold the right and left sides of the origami paper towards the middle as shown in the picture below.

Then open all the folds again and now fold the right and left sides of the origami paper once again towards the middle from the bottom as shown in the picture below.

Then open the folds again and now fold the right and left sides towards the middle following the existing fold pattern until there is a slight bulge upwards in the middle of the paper.

After that, fold the bulge upwards and now continue folding the origami paper into two parts as shown in the picture below.

Then fold the top right side down and open the folds again, then turn the origami paper over and fold the left side to the middle and turn the origami paper over again and now fold the right side down again, then fold the right side up a little and then fold the right side up a little as shown in the picture below.

After that, fold the left side down and open the folds again, then turn the origami paper over and fold the right side towards the middle, then turn the origami paper over again and fold the left side down again, then fold the bottom up and fold the side edges up a little so that the folds are aligned as shown in the picture below.

Then insert the top fold of the origami paper inward, then fold the bottom side of the origami paper to the left and right, then fold the origami paper towards the middle until it sticks out upwards.

Then fold the origami paper in half, then open the origami paper in half again and now bend it upwards while folding the origami paper in half as shown in the picture below.

After that, fold the left and right sides of the front of the origami paper in half as shown in the picture below.

After that, fold the front of the origami paper upwards, then open the fold again and fold it once more upwards with an inward fold so that the fold shape becomes neater and stronger.

Then bend the top of the paper forward, and fold the ends slightly backward as shown in the picture below.

Then pull the bottom fold of the body up a little on the lower right and left front of the Dinosaur's body to make a front leg pattern, then fold the left and right parts of the Dinosaur's legs inward a little so that the shape of the front legs becomes more perfect.

After all the folds have been followed properly, the Apatosaurus Dinosaur has now been successfully made perfectly and can stand like a real Apatosaurus Dinosaur.
