Hello to you beautiful and awesome member of the #jewelry community. It's almost done for the contest of showing me your jewelry button work. But in order not to allow the contest to end without participating, I decided to make a unique earring I made with buttons. I want to personally thank the entire jewelry admin for bringing out such creative ideas for jewelry with buttons. I don't want to spend much time on this explanation, listing out the materials and procedures I adopted for the making of the button earring. I will do that below.
With little description, the button earring I made is of buttons and beads. The combination of red pearl beads to the button was to give the earring a unique match to what is in the jewelry market. I don't think there will be any earrings like the one I made with buttons. Well, the community made it possible for me to achieve such a dream.
Honestly, the first idea I wanted to use for the earring got lost along the process. I wanted to add a red sand bead to the button earring but in the end, I lost that idea and decided to make it up with additional buttons.
Materials that were used for the making of the button earring will be provided below:
Nylon line.
8 pieces of red buttons while 4 pieces will be for different sides of the earring.
10 pieces of red pearl bead while 5 pieces will be applied to each side of the earring.
Earring hook.
Bead stopper.
Plier.
Gum.
Procedures for the button earring making will also be provided below:
As I always follow in making other earrings, I gathered the materials to be used for the making of the earring in one place so that it will be easier for me to peak them up.
I have to measure out a nylon line from the row and after that, I have to fold the nylon line into two and then insert a bead stopper. By the time I inserted the bead stopper, I used a plier to hold it and then insert 1 piece of red pearl bead.
After inserting the red pearl bead into the nylon line, I have to select 2 buttons and then apply gum to their front. After the application, I have to place the nylon line with one bead to the center of the button and then use the second button to jam.
I have to apply another gum on the side of the joined two buttons. After that, I have to gum 1 piece of red pearl bead. I also applied another gum on the left surface of the two joined buttons. After that, I have to gum 1 piece of red pearl bead. I now inserted another 1 piece of red pearl bead through the nylon line.
I selected 2 pieces of buttons, I apply gum on them and then place one below the nylon line with red pearl beads already. I now use the second button to gum the one I set below. I now have to insert 1 piece of red pearl bead on the nylon line.
What I did last was to insert an earring hook to the nylon line and use a bead stopper to luck it.
