Photography can take us on a life journey. Just think how many pictures your parents took when you were little. When you crawled for the first time, when took your first steps or when you played your very first sports match. Aren’t you doing the same with your kids and grandkids today??
For some of us, photography is like art. For others it is just to get that perfect moment on camera and for the rest…. just an object with a button that can be pushed.
Think of everyone that owns a cellphone. All these devices come standard with a camera, but teenagers are mostly using their cameras for social contact with friends on social media where they can tag friends etc. in pictures. For them, it is not really about the quality of the photo.
Today, digital photography gives us feedback directly after a photo is taken. We don’t have to wait for film to develop before we can see the pictures.
This (the photo) is after all, all we have left of a function, wedding, birth of a child etc. Photography connects us to the past, it brings back memories and photography can become a hobby. This hobby can lead to great potential as well as a creative career. Photography is not just about the equipment, but it is about what you as a photographer see and the message you want to give.
The way in which they can capture that special moment so that someone else can also see the beauty of it.
The science of photography refers to the use of science, such as chemistry and physics, in all aspects of photography. This applies to the camera, its lenses, physical operation of the camera, electronic camera internals, and the process of developing film in order to take and develop pictures properly.
Taking photos are easy, anyone can do it, but to really take a perfect shot, one must have an understanding of the camera they are working with. If the photographer becomes aware of the influence of the light, composition etc. then we talk about the art of photography. These two cannot function without each other, and if used correctly, they will be able to compliment each other with excellent work.
Photography today, is known as an art form. We can find a lot of photos in museums and galleries. Photos are everywhere!! In newspapers, magazines even on steemit!!
