The opposite of what you (and so many other Westerners) say is the true situation.

There is no political solution to the Israel-Palestine conflict, only a military one.

This has always been the open and express ideology of Hamas and all the palestinian terrorist groups.

Their actions on Oct 7 have convinced the vast majority of Israelis that a 2 state solution is now impossible. Westerners who repeat this BS are laughed at.

It is 100% clear to Israelis that the Gazan's are bloodthirsty pathologically Jews hating serial killers that will NEVER accept Israel's right to exist. They cannot be reformed, bought off with economic benefits or negotiated with.

Thus Israel has been forced into a situation where it must bring about victorious military solution to the conflict whatever the cost.

After a terrible first day, Israel is winning this existential conflict and will keep going until the threat to its people is completely eliminated.

Regarding the UN, international affairs are and have always been the law of the jungle or Hobbesian.

But Western powers (mainly the US) have hidden their brutal power wielding under a fascade of an "international rules based order" where they make the rules to suit themselves.

This is why the BRICS and their allies are so opposed to this international rules based order.
