BLOW that TRUMPET!
I came across this playful elephant at the amazing (Diergaarde Blijdorp) Zoo in Rotterdam.
It had been throwing hay and dirt on its head, running about and knocking a giant ball around!
I had my old 105mm manual focus lens with me, the fast-moving elephant gave me a challenge to focus!
Elephants are such great animals to photograph, just look at the structure of their skin and those eyes!
They make great subject for a gritty black and white photo. A side benefit of such large animals is that you don’t have to own a 300mm zoom lens to get a decent photograph.
