Hi friends. :) Before I get to the details of my second adventure I wanted to quickly mention that I got an appointment set up soon to get my feeding tube out!
It's been hurting and bothering me a lot for months and I'm super excited and hope the operation goes well! I've heard it's a very simple and fast procedure, however I think there's always at least a little bit of risk with these kinds of things and I am a lil worried.
Also, I wanted to say that it's trippy to me to think how a few months ago I was almost completely paralyzed and nearly died and was in numerous different hospitals and now I'm back home and hiking out in nature again... Wow...
Life sure can be crazy and weird and can change dramatically and quick sometimes... Things have been very difficult beyond words, yet I'm grateful to still be breathing and to have more time with my family and friends. <3
So... A few days ago I went on my second adventure out in nature since getting home! The first hill was rough again and it was difficult going further up, but... I really took my time and it worked out!
I saw some ant friends on the way and a couple bunny buddies at the top. :) Then on my way back home I filmed a beautiful sunset and I remembered just how much I miss a good beautiful sunset!
A couple stopped in a car to see if I was okay, probably because I was moving so slow! I appreciated it though, they had a real nice and caring energy about them and little things like that tend to restore my faith in humanity a lil bit. <3
Near the bottom of the hill a medium sized dog rushed out barking at me like it was going to attack me coincidentally right at almost the same spot where I got mauled by a pit bull when I was a little kid...
My first instinct was to put my leg up in defense and try to kick it away if necessary and then I remembered a story my mom told me about "Jesus" where he allegedly stopped some people who were trying to attack him with nothing but love and I put my leg back down and just said something like "Hi friend!" and smiled at it.
It barked at me for a while and circled me and then it's owner started yelling at it and eventually it went back and it's owner was yelling really mean at it and possibly even hit it and that made me sad... There's so many poor animals out there getting caught up in human vices...
Afterwards when reflecting I found that it was interesting to take myself out of self defense mode and to just offer love in return and also to be reminded of when I got mauled by that pit bull and I remembered that my old dog friend Tara or who was nicknamed "Horse Dog" pretty much saved my life and fought off the pit bull...
Tara was/is such an amazing animal friend, she saved my life from a rattlesnake once too... Was very grateful to be reminded of her! <3
Didn't stay out late enough to see very many stars, but hopefully soon! That is one of my desired goals! Can't wait to get out and watch the stars and hopefully see some UFOs!
Yet... I did get to see a few stars as it was getting dark and right when I got home I saw one or two potential UFOs, they weren't blinking like most planes do, but they just went in a straight line so I'm not convinced... Maybe, maybe not.
Right afterwards a regular plane flew by and was blinking normally which I'm pretty sure is required by law, so that always makes me wonder when I see light sources flying at night without blinking lights... Was neat that I might have seen a UFO or two my first night out! :) I guess technically they were UFOs since I didn't know what they were, but... Wasn't super compelling and maybe they were just military aircraft or something.
When I got home I had like 5 or 6 yummy burritos with great northern beans, rice, potatoes, peas and some left over noodles. It was soooo good. Super happy to be eating good food at home again! :D
And then finally I'd just say that... I've been thinking a lot about the special adventure I was on before I got sick and am very much looking into the future wishing I could get back to it! Hopefully in a couple months or maybe even sooner when I get stronger. :)
Peace and much love! <3
