Interesting thoughts! I tend to agree. There are things I think that AI won't be able to replicate that humans can do or have, but they are essentially an extension of ourselves and how much further could they or it possibly go beyond what humans have programmed?
I forgot to mention in my OP that I think it's possible such language could have been programmed into the AI to scare us... The people in power seem to love it when we are afraid and they could have programmed it to instill fear into us in a similar way that they market it as AI, when some believe it is not truly sentient.
Another possibility though is that we ourselves could be AI created by aliens many thousands of years ago or however long... I don't know the truth, but it's a really fascinating subject! And, with AI becoming more and more interwoven into society it makes me curious to learn more.
It's also interesting how many movies in the past have predicted such kinds of negative outcomes in relation to AI, were those also perhaps predictive programming and put out there by the people in power in order to lead the masses down a certain way of thinking? I think that's possible... Though, admittedly I don't know. I guess we'll see what happens! :D
