I do believe you get steem in return related to the amount of steem power you upvote with which for you is not very much. So, those people who interacted with the post who had much more steem power got the lion share of it. I don't think it is split up evenly like you claimed and instead it is split up according to who has the most steem power or rather who upvoted with the most steem power, so... Show me where in the rules or the white paper or whatever that it claims all the curators get an equal share? I've never heard that before and I don't think that's the case. I'm pretty certain it's split up based on the amount of steem power put into the upvotes.
