This was a really interesting read. You said some pretty profound things in my opinion. Especially in regards to how consciousness-expanding looking at the stars and night sky can be and how technological development is challenging that for many.

Looking at the stars and night sky is absolutely one of my favorite things to do and I never get tired of it... It's sort of magical for me. Fortunately, where I live i think we have some dark sky efforts in place like the city lights are supposed to point down towards the street instead of up into the sky and stuff like that and it's a really great place to view the stars and night sky from what I gather. I haven't really tried to watch the night sky/stars many other places so I don't have a lot to compare it to, though when people come here to visit they often tell me that it's much better than where they live and they are amazed by how much we can see here. I feel really lucky to live in such a place where I can "commune" with the universe in such ways. :D
