Hello again to anyone who may see this. I hope you're doing well.
This might not be the best time cause of all the virus and quarantine stuff... But, I just finished the full album of my first spoken word poetry attempts...
It's around 47 minutes long and I don't expect anyone to go listen to the whole thing or listen at all...
I am doing this significantly for myself and if anyone else likes it then that's awesome too. :)
So... I'm just going to put it on my YouTube channel and if anyone checks it out that's great, and if not, oh well.
I had a blast making it! And got some really good feedback, so, I'm going to keep pursuing spoken word and I already have a number of "tracks" done on the next album.
Not in any rush to finish that, going to take my time.
Anyways... Umm... I like how the whole thing turned out!
Some of it is a bit negative, yet, some is positive too! And when put all together, I think it comes out alright.
I listened to the whole album again and I think it goes good in the order of tracks I put it in.
And... It's quite a neat experience to go through such a different range of words and rhymes and sounds.
It was a lot of fun! I look forward to making more new spoken word poem music thingies in the future! :D
It was also scary at first, I was insecure and intimidated to express myself vocally yet... I'm glad I was able to get past that and give it a try, it's been very rewarding on a lot of different levels.
