Sometimes it seems like too many people are too busy watching TV, playing video games, posting pictures of themselves on social media and also posting what they ate and pictures of cute animals and stuff like that to change the world much for the better.
And.. I'm guilty of some of those things and posting some of that kind of stuff sometimes and those things aren't inherently bad in themselves it's just when you do them to the exclusion of other important things, and I mean.. I also try to post about a lot of important issues in the world and some people don't.. They just live in their own little worlds and don't try to help raise awareness elsewhere or even really try to raise their own awareness very much.
That's their right, and their freedom.. And their choice.. I can't force them to care about the larger world, but.. I'm just saying.. That is a major reason why things are not getting better and seem to be getting worse in a lot of ways.. Because from my observations.. Most people just don't really care much as long as they have their own little world taken care of.
It's very similar to something called the "bystander effect" I think? Where.. Even if someone is like hurt in front of them, they will not do anything because they expect someone else to do it.
Same thing with the problems in the world in my opinion.. Whether it's illegal wars, poverty, animal abuse, destruction of the environment, whatever..
I think most people are well intentioned, BUT.. They sort of just think.. "That's someone elses job"..
"That's what we elect politicians for".. Or whatever.
Just like an average person might not help someone hit by a car because they aren't medically trained, people expect politicians to do all this shit cause they haven't politically trained themselves and don't want to.. So they just basically give away all their power to these leeches and parasites who are some of the most psychotic and sociopathic among us based on actual legit studies by our own FBI.
So we have a situation here where.. Most people seem to be basically almost mind controlled to look away because they aren't specialized in a subject, and not only to look away from it, but also simultaneously to support a representative who wants to prey off of them and all of us.
It's morbidly fascinating.
If more people start educating themselves and each other about what's going on in the world and if they start talking about such and working towards common solutions without a government middle man in between..
I think things will get a lot better. Though.. How to encourage or inspire people into caring about the bigger world more?
How to get them to think that knowing about the principles of freedom and morality and what our so called politicians and leaders are doing is not only a million times more important than playing video games or watching TV..
But also a million times cooler as well if you really think about it.. I think cool people are people who care, not dumb fucks who don't give a shit.
Once again, I'm not disparaging all TV and video games and stuff, I play video games and watch entertainment.. I'm talking about people who do that exclusively and who don't try to help the bigger world at all.
