Yesterday I left Makariev at 3 a.m. and arrived at my children's house at about 2 p.m. During this time, I drove 700 km. I didn't take the shortest and fastest route. I have built my way so that I can visit 2 monasteries. First of all, it was supposed to be the Nikolo-Solbinsky convent. I saw this monastery for the first time in April last year. It happened completely by accident, I didn't know about its existence, but this time I consciously wanted to walk on its territory.

I did it all right. I walked around the monastery, looked at it from all sides, appreciated its high fortress wall, large corner towers, and saw that the monastery was being transformed and modernized. I took a walk inside the monastery, looked at its churches, the cathedral and the old wooden church. I saw a lot of nuns, no one looked at me with an angry face, I even greeted some of them. It is clear that the attitude towards the visitors of the monastery is kind. And I really liked it.
Of course, I will write a separate big post about the monastery. But that will be after I get home from my trip.
