Hello, my friends.

Hi, friends of birds.

Friends, I didn't want to write anything about our feathered friends today, I wanted to write a post about the trip, but I haven't figured out which one yet.
But in the morning there was another incident, I would say - a tragedy.
Do you remember my post about the predator?
This morning I sat down at my workplace at home and heard a bang on the window. I know that it was some kind of chickadee bumped against the glass. I looked at the tree outside the window and didn't see a single bird on it. It was weird. At this time there are always birds at the feeder.

And then I saw him! Hawk. I didn't even doubt that the tit had knocked on the window because the hawk had come hunting again.
This time the predator was not sitting under a tree next to my window, but a little further away, under another tree. He took off and flew towards the forest. The light outside was still weak, but it seemed to me that there was a small bird in his claws again.

What is going on? It turns out that the hawk now regularly flies to my bird feeder for the purpose of hunting small birds.
These are the realities of nature. This is called the "food chain".

I will continue to observe what is happening at my bird feeder. Now titmice, bullfinches, and grosbeak are frolicking around her.
