My son-in-law and my daughter came to visit me 1000 km away. And on such days I always try to walk with him through our surrounding forests, meadows and other interesting places. This time I decided to show him a new quarry that someone started developing this winter about 3 km from my house. I've already told you about him. We have already walked to the quarry in early spring with my wife.
This time, the daughter could not wake up, and the wife referred to cooking dinner.



I understood that there are no more plans to mine stone at this quarry. I saw that the stone layer is very small. All the equipment from here has already been moved to the base. Maybe they will look for a new place to mine limestone. Or maybe just remlm wait for the ground to become dry, otherwise the cars will get stuck in the mud.



Last year there was a nice clean road on this place, where you could sometimes walk. Now it's very dirty to walk here. You can only walk in dry weather.



These fields are not of agricultural interest. The soil here is very poor, not fertile. There is a lot of stone and clay earth in this land. Even the grass in these fields can be very bad, small.



This is my son-in-law. A very good hard working guy. Very smart. And his hands are in the right place to do various works. But he couldn't go to the field with me on a par. He is used to walking on asphalt.









I took him back through the village. Now we were going downhill and he ran away from me very quickly. And I couldn't miss the view of the river. I took a few shots with the camera.





I have already told you that we are now using the STEPN application. Just the other day we installed this application for my son-in-law on his iPhone. At the very end of our hike, he did his high-speed five-minute run. I did a similar run at the very beginning of our hike.
My neighbor laughs that "people started walking around the village at a very fast pace and they are always looking at their phones." We laugh that we are probably considered abnormal now.
By the way, my wife will start walking tomorrow morning looking at her smartphone.










And another moment. My wife still went out for a walk and we met her on the way.
