Hello, my friends.
Hello to all travelers, people who can't sit on the couch, people who want to see more than you can see sitting on the couch.
It turned out that I haven't written anything in this community for a long time. I just lost it on my list. I didn't notice that the community changed its name!
Today I want to show you, friends, a small corner of nature in which I live. I have specially chosen a place for my life so that I can always be in the bosom of nature, so that there is a forest and a river next to me. Here I breathe easily and freely and my eyes can see the distant expanses, and not rest against tall houses.
Spring. Today I tried to take my first walk this season towards the river. The difficulty could have arisen at the very beginning of my journey. We still have the ground covered with snow. I went along the snowmobile-rolled road, but it was loose and I was sinking knee-deep in snow. This is very unpleasant and makes it very difficult to move. My path lay through a ravine in which there is not a single ray of sunlight in summer. It is located among tall trees. But... Nothing lasts forever on this earth. Trees are dying too. I think that in a couple of years a lot of trees will fall, because the edges of the ravine are crumbling in places, tree roots are exposed and trees are falling.
So, the beginning of the path. I left the village road about 50 meters away. Every step was difficult for me, because the snow did not hold my weight. Yes, I am overweight. My height is 183 cm, and my weight is 120kg. I would like to throw off this extra load of 20 kilograms.
Closer to the ravine, the road turned out to be quite dense and it was comfortable to walk, otherwise I would just turn around and go for a walk in the other direction.
Rosehip. There is a lot of it in our area. For more than 20 years, no one has been cultivating agricultural land, they are beginning to overgrow with shrubs and trees. It was the rosehip that began to grow especially a lot! It grows even on my home plot. Of course, I can dig up a rosehip bush, but I don't touch it.
Birds don't pay attention to these berries. Why? I do not know why they do not like them. That is why the rosehip takes over the territory so quickly. The berries remain on the bushes until spring, then they fall to the ground and begin to grow.
And I go on, I go into the ravine and see a fallen tree. I showed this at the beginning of the article.
In the ravine I was interested in a place where every spring you can see a lot of empty cones. These are traces of woodpecker feeding. He inserts a cone into a crevice in the tree and begins to peel it, and the peelings fall to the ground. But this year I didn't see what I expected, there were very few cones.
Yes, I want to say that this year a woodpecker flew to my house and pecked a fir cone, which he fixed on a pole.
The ravine was left behind. I wanted to go straight to the river, but there was no dense road. So I went along the slope to get on the road through the former small village, which has already disappeared.
These slopes are warmed by the warm spring sun, so the snow leaves them first. And at the bottom, a rolled-up snow road may also be in early May.
There is a small lake on the way to the river. A lot of water comes here in the spring. The river spills over a large area. In ancient times, when dinosaurs lived on this territory, the river flowed along the high bank, and then it retreated from the shore and made a new channel for itself. But in the spring, water always comes to this shore.
On this road from spring to autumn, you can only drive a four-wheel drive car. There is always a bad rough road here, which is almost always wet. This is due to the fact that it is overgrown with tall trees and the sun's ray does not penetrate here. In May and June, birds can be heard singing in this place. Several nightingales can sing at the same time. I must say that these trees were not here 25 years ago, even 20 years ago the trees were still small. Then people lived here in the summer, and then they abandoned their summer cottages and the road began to overgrow with trees.
And in winter, fishermen and hunters ride here on snowmobiles and motodogs.
Already these trees began to fall on the road and someone tried to remove it.
Nature does not like emptiness. If a person leaves a place, then Mother Nature immediately tries to take this place.
This is the last old tall tree that remains of the old village. Poplar. Such trees always point to dead villages
And here is the river. The ice hasn't disappeared yet. 2 years ago, the river was already free of ice by this day. Usually the ice starts to go away by April 20. Another 10 days.
Of course, now is probably the most gray and ugly time. Yesterday morning the Sun was in the sky, and by evening the whole sky was covered with clouds and today the day has turned gray. When the heat comes to us, everything will turn green. It will be a real green kingdom.
But first the snow must melt! And it's time for me to go back home. I decided to go a little different way. The snow has become looser and I can get stuck in the snow at the exit of the ravine.
I hope, friends, that my little walk was informative for you and it opened up a new side of the dense corner of Russia. That's right, that's dremuchy. But so beloved by me!
You can come to visit us and I will try to show you something else a lot of interesting. Or you can just read my reports about my walks and travels.
Next time I want to tell you about the island of Valaam, which is located on Lake Ladoga in Karelia. I visited this island last summer, when I lived for 10 days in that beautiful place.
I add my beloved @archon community as a 5% beneficiary of the post.
