babeltrips@babeltripsSahi Retreat - Ideal Staycation in Hue

"Located about 3km far from Hue center, Sahi is hidden in a small alley of Thuy Xuan. A famous architect, Mr. Nguyen Huu Son Duong designed and built it on his own family land. He used very simple techniques and mainly used recycled wood. The building has done for over years and is well-known as a relaxing place, with a variety of public spaces as well as private spaces for guests to stay.

The owner's dream is to be able to make "a retreat home" for guests and family to rest, relax and meditate when coming home. During covid time, his wife often organizes meditation sections for people free to join. I believe you can find it on their info page."

juancar347@juancar347Neo-Gothic Madrid: Almudena Cathedral

"Madrid and its neo-Gothic Almudena Cathedral, I assure you that it is a good example of this, since together with the Royal Palace, the Orient Square and that splendid Center, known as 'the Madrid of the Austrias', it is one of the places most visited and frequented by tourists who visit our city during any time of the year.

Just a few insignificant meters away from that Royal Palace, completed by the brilliant Italian architect, Francesco Sabatini, the Almudena Cathedral, although very new in terms of time and construction, is, nevertheless, an immeasurable work of Art It is worth visiting, at least once in your life, as the writer Juan Eslava Galán would say, in his monumental guide to places in Spain to visit."

txatxy@txatxyA palace in the city- Un palacio en la ciudad

"We can appreciate the Flamenco style throughout the building. The palace consists of a plinth on the ground floor, three floors, and the last floor topped with mansards. The asymmetrical façade and in a location that stands out for its building that is only on one corner of Gran Via street in the heart of the city."
