Greetings, respected community, this publication marks my return to the platform with this I participate in a kind invitation that tibaire@tibaire makes in his "Conversing with my ancestors" using this day in which we usually proudly express our love for mothers. I wrote a letter to mine who is no longer by my side on this earthly plane.

Dear and remembered mommy:

Today is Mother's Day, it's been six years since we physically spent time together, the moment I stopped seeing you and you moved into my heart, the time when it hurts I feel like it passes faster, you know how much I miss you, but I am going to dedicate these lines to thanking the small details, the big ones I have already told you several times.
I remember that my 16th birthday and you had to go to the university, you were still studying, you brought me a cake and you gave permission for my friends to accompany me in the house, that's when I asked you… stay. Without hesitating you said of course, without telling me that with that absence you would lose an evaluation exam.

Also when you waited for me at the end of my final internship, with those flowers you bought at the entrance to the cemetery because you didn't have enough to go to a florist, in your hands also an improvised banner on a cardboard written with your handwriting: "thank you for being who you are, I love you... mom ". What a thrill to see you there, waiting for you to be the first thing I saw after my academic success.

You continually left me a note stuck to the fridge using a magnet with the activities I had to do at home in your absence, each time I read them without lifting them, until that day when it occurred to me to detach it from the magnetic iron, on the back it said, do you know How much do I love you? Very much. I cried and cried, I hadn't realized that you not only gave appropriate instructions but also that you always left something of yourself, so that we could feel your love.

Mommy, many things have happened, some of them very strong, on several occasions I think that I cannot move on because everything is more difficult without having you by my side, listening to you or simply being able to see you walk around the house. I'm not as strong as you, although trying to emulate you makes me so. Thank you for those enormous little details that made me contemplate life, amazed at everything, the laughter, the sunrise, the tears. For being so empathetic and showing me that this is how I should behave to find another human being in my gaze or gesture... always.

I will love you forever, I know that you are inside of me in some way I am sorry, I have even come to think that you heal my heart when it is hurt and you encourage it to continue life with the best thing at hand, as you did, you are not a memory You are vital energy, a significant presence in my mind and for every doubt I search it and there you are with the right answer I need, grateful because you filled my existence with wonderful details, a being of overflowing light... how lucky I have been to be your daughter.

I love you forever Maria Rosario
