This has always been a very common disease in all social strata, and continues to cause many deaths, unfortunately.
Hospital-acquired pneumonia is a true terror of respiratory diseases, like any infection caused by bacteria in hospitals.
A few years ago, when I was still a pre-medical student, I saw a pseudomonas aeruginosa infection that could only be treated with colistin, a state-of-the-art antibiotic, with which there is practically nothing else after that.

Fortunately, a community-acquired pneumonia, well treated, and of course, diagnosed in time, is cured.
