Hey everyone, those who follow me on here already know that I'm a filmmaker and video marketing, strategist. I've been in the film and commercial industry for 10 years and I have worked on everything from big-budget feature films to TV shows and Commercials. I've worked on projects for companies like Netflix, Youtube, The NFL, and Amazon. I knew I wanted to work in the world of film and video from a very early age and so after I graduated with my degree in Digital Media I moved to Los Angeles Califonia to fulfill my dream.
In my 10 years of experience, I have worked on every type of project and at the end of the day, my favorite projects were the commercial works that were fast-paced and story driven. After working in the studio world for so long things become repetitive and dull. I decided to make a change in my life and start exploring other opportunities. I found myself working at a tech startup editing videos of client video games. It was a great company but one thing was really lacking. They didn't have anyone making video content for their own company and no video content for social media. I decided to speak with the CEO about the need that I saw for their business and after some back and forth they agreed that they could really use this. Since they didn't have a video department and they could see I knew what I was doing they had me form this part of the company. I managed and ran their video marketing for almost 2 years. It was at this point that they decided they were taking the company in a different direction and began making some drastic changes and layoffs. Unfortunately, this included the entire marketing team. While trying to figure out my next steps and where to go from here I began to think about what I really loved most about making videos.
It's not just the filming and editing, heck it wasn't even about the power of storytelling. What I discovered I loved most was being creative and working with others. Getting to know clients and what their stories were. Why they love what they do and their industry and solving their problems and just like that Brite Point Media was born.
So that's a little bit of my story! So with that said and like the title of my post says as of January of this year 2021 I officially have my own video company Brite Point Media. I would love it if anyone can take a look at my website and some of my past work and I would love and feedback!
Lastly, wish me luck! Haha.
